This fall Jerry will begin his sixth year of color commentary for ESPN Radio Williamsport; covering Lycoming College Football .
He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1982. Jerry was a defensive back for Lycoming during his playing career from 1982-85 and was part of the first undefeated and NCAA playoff appearance team in school history.
After graduation he remained on the staff at Lycoming as a scout and defensive back coach until 2007. Jerry is the oldest son of retired, long time head coach Frank Girardi and was part of a staff that coached in 15 NCAA playoff games and two National Championships.
With a degree in both business administration and economics, Jerry has been employed in the mortgage/banking industry for the past 20 years. He is currently a branch manager for M&T Bank.
Girardi resides in Williamsport with his wife, Patty and sons, Gennaro and Angelo.
